Frequently asked questions
How deep should fence posts be set?
As a rule, at least one third of the above-ground post height, in concrete, below frost depth. Shallow posts are the number one reason fences lean.
Do I need a permit or a survey?
Permit requirements vary by municipality and HOA. If the fence is on or near a property line, we strongly recommend knowing exactly where that line is before we dig.
Wood, vinyl or aluminium?
Wood is cheapest and warmest looking but needs maintenance. Vinyl needs none but costs more. Aluminium suits pools and views where you do not want to block sight lines.
Can you replace just a section?
Yes. We repair and extend existing fences as well as installing new runs, and will match the existing style where materials allow.
