Our story
Hearth & Hammer started in 2012 with a simple idea: homeowners deserve a builder who shows up when they say they will, explains what they are doing, and finishes what they start. That has not changed.
We began with decks and patios. As clients asked for more — an outdoor kitchen here, a retaining wall there, a kitchen remodel over the winter — we grew into a full hardscape, outdoor living and remodeling contractor serving Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Lake Wylie, Clover, York, Indian Land and Lancaster.

What types of construction work do you take on?
We take on residential and commercial construction and remodeling projects that fit our team and service area. During the estimate we define the scope, specialist trades and any project-specific permit requirements in writing.
Do you use subcontractors?
We complete most work with our own in-house crews. Where a specialist trade is needed (electrical, gas, pool plaster) we use long-standing local partners we supervise directly.
